However, applying powder spraying technology to wood-based panels has been faced with two difficulties of “reducing the temperature required for curing” and “protecting wood from being damaged by heating”.
After conducting 17 years of concentrated research and development, the inventor of the Aleco technology and chairman of Shenzhen Aleco Technology Co., Ltd., Wu Ming, applied the low temperature electrostatic powder spraying technology to wood based panels, successfully solved two world-class conundrums of reducing the temperature required for curing density boards and board cracking and increasing the rate of good finished products to 99%.
Wu Ming graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University in 1990 and joined Belgium UCB in 2000. That began his journey of developing powder coating resin technology. In 2002, as the China market manager, he led the promotion of applying low temperature powder coating resin in MDF (medium density fiberboard). In 2003, he was in charge of the first MDF low temperature powder coating line built in China. He was in charge of setting up the world's largest commercial production line of MDF low temperature powder coating in 2007.
In 2011, Wu Ming left UCB to start a venture for further developing the coating formula, equipment and technology of low temperature powder coating technology. In 2013, he successfully solved a world-class conundrum of cracking of MDF during coating, greatly increasing the rate of good finished products and winning multiple patents.
In 2014, he successfully developed new products with mirror dimming effect and customized pattern effect on the basis of products having sand grain alone for 11 years after the technology is commercialized.
